Brief Introduction

MU34 series metering box is specifically designed for post-paid metering scenarios of low-voltage high-current users. Its core unit is an integrated cast-in-place current transformer. The feature lies in the integration of voltage and current sampling terminals, as well as the main circuit copper bar, with the current transformer. This design results in a highly integrated product with strong weather resistance and convenient installation. It is the preferred choice for post-paid electric energy metering in residential areas, shops, and small-scale industries.

Integrated Current Transformer

The current transformer seamlessly integrates three current transformers. It has a compact structure, strong sealing, and is moisture-proof, dust-proof, corrosion-proof, and condensation-proof. It has no air gaps and no leakage, and can operate stably for a long time in various complex environments. Its flame-retardant and self-extinguishing characteristics eliminate the risk of fire and explosion, ensuring electrical safety.

What IP rating do you recommend for outdoor distribution boxes in Africa?

For outdoor use in tropical or desert climates, we recommend IP54 or IP65 enclosures with anti-corrosion coating. Our TBC and LCB series are available in IP65 upon request.
